I've had quite a few FX-M42 adapters and this is the nicest one. Everything is very well finished, the adjustability works and it all works very well.
Functionally, there's no difference between this and the normal adapter. It does fit with the FX-bayonet better though, meaning it's a good tight fit on the camera with very little rotational slack after mounting, which I have seen with cheaper adapters.
