Mine works great, high quality, and no black x! I'm very satisfied with this filter and even more happy with the price paid. Hopefully it holds up for a long time.

Great value for the price. Now I can take more pictures during mid day as i can darken the harsh sun. Also good for slow shutter speed photography so you can get the motion blur without the highs blowing out your shot during the day.

I don't normally write reviews but this item brought me so much joy I had to. One of my best purchases ever. Went on a hike to a waterfall and was able to get fantastic photos in midday sunlight. I get to eliminate my half a dozen other ND filters because this single filter does all that and much much more.One downside is it is too thick for my lens hood to fit over the filter. Doesn't matter. The convenience and performance vastly outweigh that downside.
